This website is dedicated to
the former students of MCKK (Malay College Kuala Kangsar) who
enrolled in Form 1 in 1965, Form 4 in 1968 and Lower Form 6
in 1970.
I was once asked how did we get such a "complicated' name
like "jublitan65-mckk69" for our website? I answered to him
that it all started in 1996 when a pioneer group of us got together in Kuala Kangsar during
one of the Old Boys Weekend and decided to refer to our
batch as Jubli Intan 65, the "65" denoting the year that we were
in Form One. It also represented the year MCKK
celebrated it's Diamond Jubilee.Later, it was more or less agreed by
MCOBA (Malay College Old Boys
Association)
to refer to our respective batch in accordance with the year that we were in Form 5.
It was also written in the almanac that 1965
was the year when the last headmaster was a
British. It also signified the last time "Eton Fives", (which MCKK has the only court in Malaysia) was played.
Since
we were in Form 5 in 1969, we are therefore
referred to as the "MCKK69" batch. So as not to
lose our Jubli Intan 65 identity, we therefore decided to
combine the two together and call our website
as Jublintan65-MCKK69.com
The content of this website is very
simple. We keep the profiles of our members in our
members'
page so that if one of
us wishes to contact another, he just goes to his profile
and get his contact details from there. Unfortunately,
some of us are "missing in action" and therefore we do not
have a complete record of all our members' profile.
Some have moved to a new address and use new telephone
numbers, but forget to inform us about them, so that we end up
having their old addresses and contact numbers. If any citizen

The
other content of this website is the
activities
page
. Here we inform members of our
activities for each month and record the activities with
photographs, wherever possible. We try to meet each other as
often as we can through gatherings. For example, we
always get
the chance to meet
again if one of us organises a wedding reception for his
son or daughter. Lastly, needless to say, we can leave our avid and hardy
golfers on their own because they know where, when and how to meet
regularly for their golf sessions.
We hope to introduce
more useful contents in the website in future. Thank you for visiting
