The G8 organised by Class of 68 was successful. Almost
100 golfers from Class of 65 to 72 participated. Of course the
Champion Class was Class of 68, and therefore stopped Class of
66 getting a hattrick. Champion house was Idris. Our own
Ismail Yusoff got 3rd placing with a score of 39 points.

Next year, 2008, will be our turn to organise the G8. A
meeting was held right after the prize giving chaired by
Chairman of JI65 - Aznam. The following were decided as the G8
Organising Committee. Those present were: Aznam, Bas, Jed,
Tarmizi, Joe Old, Dato Raj, Dato Awie, Shade, Wan Jah, Wan
Peng, Salleh O and India.

An estimated budget of RM40k is required to organise the
G8. With RM200 charged per participant, total collection from
participation would be RM20k, there is still a shortage of
RM20k.
Idris Jais (India) will be sponsoring the T-Shirts. Mat
Ali was requested to design the T-Shirt.
Tentative date of the 2008 G8 would be Wednesday 20
August 2008 (20082008).
Can someone please contact Ghiatuddin for the Gross
Challenge Trophy.
Next meeting of G8 Committee will be on 28 Aug 2008 at
9pm at Shoru.
