On Saturday, 5th September 09, a gathering was held at the
residence of Anuar
Ismail (Bab) at 10.00 pm to discuss on the CTB (Coffee
Table Book) and Jubli Intan 65's 40th Anniversary. |
|

40th ANNIVERSARY |

The 40th Anniversary is scheduled to be held at the Perak
Riverside Resort (Awan Bayu Sdn Bhd) in Kuala Kangsar from
Friday, 16th October 2009 to Sunday, 18th October 2009.
Participants to the gathering are expected to leave their
home for Kuala Kangsar after the Friday prayer and leave
Kuala Kangsar on the following Sunday after lunch. A
barbecue or buffet dinner is expected to be held on
the Saturday night. The activities at other times are being
developed and will depend on the
interest of would-be participants.

A table costing RM1,600 for 10 pax has been

If additional table is required, we will have to buy at
RM1,800 per table (all the discounted tables have

Receipts of articles have not been
encouraging. Only five articles have been
received so far. We are targeting for about
20 main articles and as many short articles
and snippets as possible. Amongst the heap of
materials, we will be able to sift for those
potentially suitable for a wide readership. |

We have decided on the following:- |

1. Everyone of us to write something - does
not need to be long, does not need to be of
high literary value; we are looking for your
content, your life experiences, views that we
can share with. Leave the writing to the
editor-in-chief. |

|
|
| |
|
|
2. Submit any snippets, sayings
attributable to a character amongst us, etc. |
|
| |
|
|
|
|
| |
|
|
3. The CTB is not about Koleq nostalgia: it
is about ourselves, our experiences, and how
we see our future generations. What do we
have that can be left and said for our future
generations? It is not Koleq nostalgia but it
may contain Koleq nostalgia. |

|
|
| |
|
|
4. We will develop a draft format when we
are in Kuala Kangsar during the 40th Anniversary: Some of
us may not have any idea of what the CTB would
look like, and hence how they can contribute. |
|
