Dr. Jalal invited about 10 of Jubli Intan 65 members and their wives to view his collection of antiques at his residence at No.9, Jalan Utara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Due to some constraints with parking, he had to limit the invitation to about a dozen or so. Thus on Sunday, 18th January 2009, members of Jubli Intan 65 and their wives who attended the gathering were Arbans & Sharifah, Ad & Deb, Lank & Salmiah, Jed & Salamiah, Bab & Zul, Wan Jah & Khadijah and finally Amek who came solo. "A picture paints a thousand words" and the following photos reflected the happy atmosphere of the gathering together with photos of some of Dr.Jalal's favourite antiques. 1   . The first to arrive at Dr.Jalal's place were Arbans (Rahim Abdullah) and his spouse, Sharifah who arrived at 12.00 pm sharp. The second to arrive was Amek (Muhammad Alwi), followed by Lank (Roslan) and his wife, Salmiah. Someone remarked that Arbans came all the way from Seremban and yet he and his wife managed to be there first.                         Arbans, Ad & Jed                   The last to arrive were Bab and his wife, Zul. It was not because they didn't arrive early. It was because they couldn't find Dr.Jalal's house as easy as the rest of us could.                           Wan Jah Amek & LanK                           One of the antique collections - mini canon                   We had a glass of welcoming drink whilst admiring the collection of antiques in Dr.Jalal's house and talked about the current situation and news, like the winning of the bye-election in Kuala Trengganu by PAS on the day before. After that we were called to savour the lunch prepared by Dr.Jalal's wife, Yuha.                           Deb and Salmiah with Salmiah's 2 daughters     . 2   .       We all commented that Dr. Jalal was a very lucky guy to have a wife like Yuha, who is an excellent cook, for we all enjoyed the nasi briani gam, laksa johor, sup ekor and other delicious dishes that were served .                           Arbans, Ad & Jed                     Antique Bass Guitar   Antique Barber Chair                                     Amek, WanJah & Dr.Jalal                   After the meal, we gathered in one of the rooms to perform solat berjemaah with Dr. Jalal as the imam. After peforming the solat, we sat down together to discuss about the activities of Jubli Intan 65, which were the CofeeTable Book, 40th Anniversary, Old Boys Weekend in April 09 with the theme 9 (Batch 59, 69, 79 and 89) and the sale of T-Shirts for donations towards the Palestinian funds.                           WanJah, Amek, Arbans, Ad & Jed   . 3   .         After the discussion, we adjourned to the dining room again to have bubur kacang durian and tea/coffee.
