The members of Jubli Intan 65 regularly organises gatherings
and get togethers to foster closer "silatulrahim" between each other
and their families. The most regular gathering activities are
golf, monthly get-togethers and wedding ceremonies. The following are the reports
on the activities for the month of May

Dear Guys,
Don't be despaired even if you've missed the Lunch on
Thursday 30th May 2007 at the Royal Lake Club.Your intentions
and your non-presence already felt.
Anyway MatKuMi has appointed me as a
Lead Consultant (Comprehensive Consultancy) to overview all
his projects. I am told to make assessments of all available
Practitioners that we have, in order to deliver him the best
services practised, inclusive that of some "Conservation
Works", which I am not allowed to participate, since the
appointment requires me
a full-time dedication. Although I can help formulate those
briefs that are required.
Hopefully, things will work out for me at this age where
I'm not yet ready for retirement. Too many commitments to
provide for my immediate family that withstood me through
thicken times. The spirit of "28 Ogos" prevails, I hope.

Yang datang tadi, in order of arrival:
Abdullah Ali, Tarmizi, Jed, Kumi, Mat Ali, Zul Alias, Wan Jah,
Non, Nasir Majid, TSS and last but not least Nawi. Total
eleven.
I was supposed to sign the bill but Nasir
Majid beats me to it, with the excuse that he won't be around
next month. So, next month has to be my turn. Anyway, thanks
to Nasir Majid for picking up the tab.
It was
decided that this monthly lunch will be on Tuesday instead of
Thursday, so next month's lunch will be on Tuesday 26 June
2007, same time, same place. The lunch normally starts at 12
noon and ends at 2.30pm. The monthly lunch will proceed
regardless of no. of JI65's coming, but the numbers are
required by Sunday 24 June, just to get the tables.
Kumi promised to sponsor the August lunch,
i.e. 28 August 2007, as it will be on his birthday and Mat
Ali's too.

Upon the comments by Grandpa (Fadzil
Abdul Rahman), who said,"Not a bad turnout...is it?", Tarmizi
responded by stating,"Actually, GrandPa, if three turn up also
a good turnout. Objective is for us to have an excuse to meet,
especially now that we will be retiring. Some people who are
unlucky still have to work after retiring and will have their
time occupied, but some of us will have so much free time.
Anything can transpire during these meetings,
maybe:-
a. to exchange ideas on how to handle grand
children
b. to find the best agent for umrah or haji
c.
to learn from others how to handle kenduri kahwin anak
d.
to learn from others how to succeed in the restoran
business
etcetera etcetera etcetera.
Example,
KUMI was looking for IT Company for his office and website,
also looking for possible partners to develop his land in KB
and Kedah.
While I was looking for people who can
help me find deserving bodies for TSM Chairty Golf to disburse
their money to.
Tremendous
possibilities.
